Welcome to the BCS Service Management Specialist Group Website

The Service Management Specialist Group provides an avenue for developing and promoting IT service management techniques and standards such as ITIL and BS20000.

The goal of the SMSG is to facilitate free and open exchange of ideas, experiences and best practice in all that is IT Service Management.

How to join our Service Management Specialist Group

If you are a member of the BCS, simply send an email to processing@hq.bcs.org.uk with your BCS Membership number indicating the Service Management Group - SMSG. As a member you can initially select upto five groups.

If you are a non-member and would like to join the BCS and SMSG please Click here. If the BCS are unable to offer you the grade for which you applied the membership team will welcome you into the membership grade for which you currently qualify. In addition to the wide range of Specialist Groups on offer, BCS Membership brings a wealth of other member services and benefits.
